Jen Cunningham, Pershing Elementary

The second graders will have the opportunity to take a field trip to the Lincoln Children's Museum to receive hands-on learning on how communities work together.

Colleen Gill and Marsha Prior, Norwood Park Elementary

The second graders will get to participate in two field trips to extend and encourage the exploration of their community by visiting a bank, retail store and other community businesses while using the city bus for transportation.

Brian Kabourek, Lincoln East High School

The AP Microeconomics students will be alble to gain economic examples and ideas that go beyond the textbook, gaining a class set of reading books that focus on capitalism.

Michelle Fonck, LPS Entrepreuership Focus Program

The students will use their grant to provide a reading and connection activity to various thrid grade classrooms using Dr. Suess' book The Lorax.

Colleen Ogden and Michaela Schliechner, Lincoln East High School

The economic students will be provided dry erase lapboards that will help students and provide the teachers in making formative assessments of fundamental economic concepts.

Jane Janesch, Kahoa Elementary

The first grade class will visit Three Eagles Communications to learn first hand the importance of a job and how it will pay for an individuals wants and needs.
